Because agriculture deserves innovation that actually works

HELPING FARMERS & APPLICATORS BUILD WHAT’S NEXT

The magazine article that fulfilled a decades-long dream

Like many farm families, the Giddens family faced a familiar challenge — not enough ground or income to support everyone who wanted to return home. For years, Jacob Giddens worked in town, all while dreaming of a way to reconnect with his agricultural roots.

In 2023, while flipping through a farming magazine, a story about spray drones stopped him in his tracks. The idea of bringing precision technology to agriculture — and helping farmers work smarter, not harder — just made sense.

What started as one drone became a thriving operation.

He bought his first drone, and the rest took off from there. By the summer of 2024, Jacob had tripled the acres he sprayed, hired his first employee, and even began selling drones to other applicators looking to grow their own operations.

Today, Carolina Agri Drones stands as a trusted partner for farmers and applicators across the region — built on innovation, integrity, and a lifelong commitment to agriculture.
